AI tools were used to help build parts of this website. This page explains exactly where, so nothing is passed off as something it isn't.
Where AI was used
- Website code and design. Much of the site's code, layout, and styling was built with the help of an AI coding assistant, directed and reviewed by me at every step.
- Quiz questions and explanations. The questions and explanations on the Investing Quiz page were drafted with the help of AI, then reviewed for accuracy. If you spot a mistake, please report it so it can get fixed.
Where AI was not used
- Live market data. Stock prices, financials, earnings, and news come directly from Finnhub and Massive, real data providers, not AI.
- Leadership bios and club information. The words on the Leadership page and descriptions of the club, its meetings, and its mission are written by actual club members.
- The brokerage, reading recommendations, notes/slides shows. Those reflect real research and personal opinions, not AI output.
Why this page exists
AI is a normal part of how a lot of software gets built now, including projects like this one. I'd rather be upfront about it than have anyone assume every word or line of code here was written entirely by hand when it wasn't. This does not mean the entire website was created with ai, but some parts inclduing design, the simulator, and the quiz were. All code created and outputed by ai was looked over before anything is public.
